I did the one with straws once. I didn’t get stopped in the airport tho. But we obviously didn’t bring a scissor with us. So I couldn’t even open them. So I had to buy new shampoo and stuff, so it was all a waste..

It's more about getting to your destination with less space: More people want to use only carry-on (luggage gets lost a lot, I know!). Plus allowable baggage gets smaller each year - And they charge Obscene amounts if dosh for larger luggage!

You turn the shower cap inside out then put the shoe. When you want to shower, turn the shower cap to it’s original position and shower... i hope that works

Ring hack: If you want to carry a lot of rings in your bag and don’t want to lose them, take a foam hair curler (not a heat tool! A roller) open it and slide your rings on it.

In large amounts yes. but a straw in a well ventilated area isn't going to do much harm.

or you don't put a the shoe-shower cap not on your head and just use and reuse it instead of a different plastic bag every time you pack your shoes ;)

I just packed for a 2 week trip for my boyfriend. I don't know how he will be with his clothes but to pack everything was amazing!!! I'm definitely doing this every time!!

These are important items I always take to Europe: a compass to help me get out of subways and train stations easily. Gel insoles for my walking shoes. And lastly sanitary wipes to clean the remote control in hotel rooms.
